When you obtain your medical record through RASCi's Health Information Exchange, you will receive a RASCi Prescription Card. It is a patient choice program covering dozens of medications and allows you to remain on participating brand medications at little or no additional cost versus the generic alternative.
What does this mean to you?
Depending on the prescription medication you may be currently using, you could see savings from $20 - $80 or more a month.
The program and card are free, and intended to give you a choice to remain on brand name medications. It will not impact your current medications where no generic formulation is available. This valuable, complimentary card is a simple thank you from RASCi for using our service.
The potential savings by using your card will likely offset the costs associated in obtaining a copy of your medical record through RASCi.

You have a right to your medical record
A Supreme Court Ruling has stated that a patient has the right to access and/or obtain a copy of their medical record. The information recorded in a medical chart belongs to the patient, however the physical record belongs to the organization or person (physician or hospital) that created the record.
Further, there is an administration fee that is associated in retrieving and facilitating the secure delivery of these records.
All payments can be securely made online.
IMPORTANT
Your medical record is an important vital document to your personal health and every person should have a copy of their record and you should not see a doctor without their office having a copy of your medical record.
